Science is hip! On several websites, I have found people using old test tubes and beakers as vases for plants and flowers. It looks very cool and the odd shapes of the lab gear offer a fun and new way to add plants into the home. Some are hanging, wall mounted, and stabilized on a table...I may have to visit Chicago's American Science and Surplus store to pick of some beakers!
