Oak Park Adventure

I am heading to Oak Park (a suburb right outside of Chicago) to explore and find some of Frank LLoyd Wright's homes he designed. There are around 25 homes and small building he designed in the area! A recent poll said he was "the most influential designer of the 20th century"... I don't believe that but will give him credit for being the most well known, in the U.S. anyway. But, my pick for most influential would be Mies Van der Rohe. He changed the style of architecture and furniture all over the world. Way to go Mies!

Fallingwater is a home I won't be visiting this week, but it is a beautiful place and I one day hope to visit!
